CrossFit

Our CrossFit classes are classic CrossFit, preparing you for the unkown and unknowable. It is designed to improve your capacity in 10 physical skills; Cardiovascular/respiratory Endurance, Strength, Stamina, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Agility, Coordination, Balance, Accuracy. CrossFit is described as being ‘constantly varied, functional movements performed at high intensity’. This allows you to move the largest loads the longest distance, ideal for maximizing your power output. Each of our workouts are designed with this in mind, to allow you to get the most out of your hour with us, preparing you for everyday life.

Movement 101

During these sessions members will work with coach Jack to assess their own mobility and will be given the tools needed to correct and improve on these restrictions. These sessions will focus on improving active mobility, following the FRC principles that Jack has learned and developed. These sessions carry over to CrossFit positions, helping you to move well. As well as being great for active recovery and mobility development.

Barbell

Our Barbell sessions will focus on the 2 Olympic Lifts, the Clean and Jerk and the Snatch. Our focus during these sessions will be technique, technique, technique. If you’re not moving well you’re not adding weight! These sessions will aim to build to new 1RMs as well as looking at the transfer of these lifts into CrossFit.
